Dear All

I am in desperate need of a wetsuit, but alas cannot afford a new one (how expensive are they?!!) so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could hire 1 for a weekend or buy one second hand? I am 25yrs old, but I am only 5ft tall & petite in shape - size 8- so I figure I could probably fit into an older childs (as many of my clothes are)!

Hey there

You'll be able to hire a wetsuit from most surf shops, I've never been to Scarborough, but I imagine it has plenty of surf shops.

If you just need it for a week and can't borrow one just hire it.

Alternatively you can come up here and I'll lend you my spare one! You might need to roll the arms and legs up though.

heya, i've also never been to scarborough so i dont really know much, but there are loads of brand new suits going cheap on ebay year round, set a sniper on one and you could get lucky, i know it gets cold up there, you planning on surfing year round? just summer? winter? if you're gonna be surfing winter, you'll need boots, gloves and a hood with the suit, although you normally buy them seperate
