finally done it. After three of us catching the same wave, and the shortboarder sinking first, then me on my 7.6, and watching my friend on his 9.1. ride all the way into the beach, I've bought a nice shiny new 9.1. herbie fletcher thriller with a big old single fin on it.

Caught 3 waves today in my first half hour even though it was flat ish, and I'd never have done that on my first board. Don't quite know how i'm gonna get out to the line up when the surf picks up. I'd just got the hang of ducking my 7.6 and now I'm gonna have to start turtle rolling again. It's a wicked board though and it's in flexlite epoxy.
