Whitsand Bay...

Postby yozza2006 » Thu May 17, 2007 10:09 pm

Just moved from Helston to Carkeel. Sucks i know! I went into the nearest surf shop and asked about any good surf beaches near by, they said Whitsand. So far ive tried near the army ranges, but i keep hearing its slightly better further up towards Rame Head?
Anyone have any advice about a better surf spot up that direction?

Peace
Yoz

Tregantle seems ok. I tried heading up past Freathy and going down a path near the beach cafe. Seems to come in better up there, but its one hell of a walk down...so much worse than tregantle...

I love Sennen, it's so chilled out and the surf is supposed to be more consistent than anywhere else in the UK.

True, but it gets really crowded in the summer. Bloody surf schools.
The most amount of surfers ive seen in the water at Whitsand is around 10-15!
