Looking for a Good Beginner Board

Postby JoyDivisi0n » Sat Aug 04, 2007 1:53 am

Hey I'm 5'9" and 135lbs, with no experience surfing. I'll be moving to within walking distance of the beach and have decided to take up surfing. What would be a good board to start off on? I'm hoping to spend no more than $200/250, if at all possible. Thanks for your help guys.

You will be very lucky if you find a board for that price. If you dont, you'll have a to get a used one. But i'd say you should get a size from 7'0 and anything higher. Maybe one of those foam boards, they work.
