Nort walse this week end

Postby Johno » Tue Jul 31, 2007 8:28 am

Any one advise what conditions are going to be like at the weekend,

checked MS the stars say poor surf on sunday, but from the sweel chart looks like the south is getting some swell does any one think it will push up the irish canel?

Would it be worth the trip to Hells mouth?

As you know, Im an ignorant fugger when it comes to Wales...

...so take everything from me with a pinch of salt, but for what its worth -

The swell isnt going to be very strong coming into the west and is going to be a touch too northerly to wrap around up to north wales. There just about might be something towards the end of the weekend, but the tides are all wrong to get something on the push

BUT its only tuesday, and the weather is crazy this year, so plenty of time for it to change!!

If it isnt clearer by the end of the week, remind me and I'll have another look if you want. That's if you trust this ignorant buffoon

Hmmmmmmm.... :?
The low has developed more than I thought it would - so cornwall should get some lovely waves late saturday through to sunday - but the low is also to the north of ireland so I dont think it will wrap around to North Wales.

Might be a small something on the push, but not a lot.

Also, the weather is gonna be much better the further east you go 8)
It should be sunny in wales on sunday... but it might not be.

S end of HM will offer a littler shelter. not really bi enough for rhyos. and Deffo be flat on the N.shore.
