Surf Friendly airlines?

Postby Stoker » Sun Sep 19, 2004 9:53 pm

I am headed to O'ahu from middle USA in December with a surfboard. Anyone know which carriers charge least for taking a board over? Air carriers list the charge for ski (often free) but not surf equipment on their web pages.

United Airlines charges $80 USD each way and the board can't exceed 109 inches.

If you know what other carriers charge, please post.
Thanks

going to Hawaii in Dec. Good luck, for most part all airlines will juice you.
Not to mention inner island flights.
