Postby deathfrog » Thu Aug 12, 2004 10:03 pm

I was wondering if anyone on this board surfed the texas gulf, and if they did what kind of board they had, ive been looking into buying a board. Any comments would be great.

yea i live in tx and surf here. if ur just beginning go with a 9- 10ft longboard. if youve surfed a lot, and paddle good and everything get a fish or a 6'6 and bigger all around. if we had surf like we have had in the past week everyday a short board would be the ticket, but the truth is we dont, so get something that floats good so u will catch some waves and not jus be paddling all the time. see ya in the lineup!
