hi all , my first day on forum !
Just wanted to share an awesome moment with you all from yesterdays visit to stinky Saunton (love the place really , no really i do
) .
Super strong tide came rushing in yesterday evening ..so strong that even the fish could not get out past the waves to get back to open sea ! .
Me and my main surf buddy 'the pieman ' had to paddle through schools of thousands of surface lying fish to get out to the waves ... " awesome ..as i caught a messy 6ft'er , just as it broke i was greeted with a facefull of jumping mackeral ...not had that before !! .
I knew it was going to be a good day so i even went down armed with a waterproof camera . While everyone else was concentrating on just trying to stay on their boards .... me and the pieman were taking it in turns to get some messy stormy wave piccys ..LOL ' ... looking forward to seeing the results ! . Will post any that are worthy of a look .
" An excellent stormy blown out day on the North coast of Devon " ... as usual we made new friends with all the other nutters out there ... and i had the pleasure of meeting a woderful surfing mermaid by the end of the day !
What can i say , this is my first year of surfing ... nothing like it .. the people as you all say ' are the best peeps you could ever wish to meet ! .
