Whats the shout for next week?

Postby Sar » Tue Jul 10, 2007 11:17 am

Hi All,

I am well aware that it is only Tuesday but any idea on what it looks like for next week. im on holiday from work and have absolutely nothing to do so I thought surfing might be a spot of fun :D

So, hows it looking? Is anyone going surfing? -Can I come too? Any ideas of where I could go? - wouldnt mind trying somewhere new so Im open to suggestions..

Cheers!

Crikey these people who harp on when they have holidays coming up! 8)
Personally i'll sitting infront of the computer and watching the live surfing from Jeffries and the billabong pro.

Unfortunatley im not much of a forecaster so will call on DBBB to provide the prevailing conditions and where to go.

Looking like its a week of cold North winds next week, with crappy period windswell comming from the NW if the current pressure crarts are to be taken at current value.

I'm off next week too, hoping to find some waves somewhere in the south west.

I think DBBB is trying not to break his 3000 post thingy   .

I will have to look closer to the time and just chase an ocean ripple that there is. I have cleared my diary (which actually was quite busy) for this! If its raining and flat all week I will not be happy!

I feel even less optimistic than PW! I agree there will be a crappy little wind wave in the SW but I'm thinking there will be more west in the wind come Monday or Tuesday.

Sorry.

Broken it now, so I might as well try for another couple of thousand posts...

Been away for a couple of days, so not up with whats tracking where... but a quick look at the charts doesnt look good. :(
A choppy little windwave in the southwest, probably followed by a flat spell later next week. Not sure about the east coast (cos I never forecast that, and hardly ever go there. Shame on me) - small possibility of a fun small wave mid-week, but I dont think so (Northswell? Anyone?)

So, in a word - cr@p.

Next week is a long way away though - fingers crossed it'll all change.

But what do I care? In a couple of days, I'll be paddling out in the pacific off the coast of sydney  8) :D

Looks like a small bump next week Tues/Weds, spot on DBBB, but not worth getting giddy about. At least the weather looks like it might improve.

Long range things look a little better towards the back end of the week but thats so far off its impossible to call.
