Surfing with long hair.

Ola! Me again!

I know the streotypical surfer is portrayed with long blonde locks, but sure it´s pretty impractical?

I´ve been growing my hair, more as an experiment than because I actually like long hair (especially my stupid curly mop). Anyway, recently when surfing my hair has either been getting in or covering up one or both of my eyes most of the time. My hair is too short to tie back, so what is a guy to do?

u get the bit that does it cut level with your eyes then the rest of your hair will still grow and it will not get in the way

Friend of mine uses something like an alice band (ask your sister/girlfriend) thing is, his girlfriend won't let him use her plain ones, and makes him wear a silver glittery one :lol:

does seem to keep his hair out of his eyes though

So...let me get this straight, to solve my long hair problem I should get a bright pink, kinda retro wetsuit with matching boots and gloves, hair clips, a pink, glittery hair band, and a pink swimming cap?

My wife has long hair, even when she ties it back, after a couple good wipeouts (and she has plenty of them

) it has come undone. Hair hanging everywhere. One person I met in Cali wears a surf cap. It holds all his hair back and protects his face and head from the sun. He said that was the only thing that really works.
Just make sure it is pink

dude, when you duckdive just position your head so the water pushes your hair back. i never have that problem, ans my hair reaches just below my eyes
