o man jus got back from montauk...for ne1 who doesnt kno its the very tip of long island, new york....the waves werent THAT big but i got some reallyyyyy good rides..especially friday and today...only been surfin for a few weeks now but its getti neasier every time..got some sick rides today....im home now and boy do i miss it already..lol....iwas rentin a board the week i was there..from air and speed surf shop if ne1 knows the area...im definitly a long boarder..i love the 8'0" so now im lookin into gettin one for my own..i was usin a soft top but i dont wanna buy a soft top..ne1 have suggestions on a board..like i said i love the 8'0"...i was lookin at the channel island H4000 and the classic..jus gotta check what sizes they come in....also a problem i was havin while surfin this week. is the NSOE DIVE..really pisses me off...i catch a good wave and BOOM down i go into the sand(very big sand bar)..lol...any one got ne tips on what i can do to fix that? thanks a bunch guys and surfs up!

yea... I did that about 8 times in a row in this summer in laguna.... I was on a narrower board than I was used to, so It was kinda wobbly for me, and I took off at less steep of an angle to the side, so I kept going down, and down, and down, until eventually I was like screw this and took off heading down the line, and finally got up. I was just unsure on the narrower board, but yea, go to the side, don't start straight in.
