I saw some pics on the news and couldn't believe my eyes! I didn't realise just how bad it is, it's just awful. I feel so sorry for people affected by it, what a nightmare.

Aaaaah, good ol' wainfleet! I have happy memories of working there one summer as a student! How badly has it been affected?

All's cool with me, i live in the hills, the Brook nr. the shop flooded a little and filled the cellars, but not mine, must hve been tanked up by previous owners. Good job as there is a lot of stock down there.

Strange thing is before all hell broke loose, I scoped a couple of spots out that might give a river wave.

Sorry to hear about your parents place Chris, hope its not too bad and they can get re-opened quickly.

The drainage canal along the south perimeter road of heathrow is nearly overflowing for the first time, ever. Saw it earlier, if it rains heavily tonight I reckon it'll overflow it's north bank which will shut the south perimiter road, and even worse - flood the cargo & technical blocks!

That'd pretty much shut London Heathrow for a couple of days at least. Absolute Chaos!

Chris didn't realise that your parents had the one on the Wicker.

My sister in law Jackie used to work there, and her dad does Anthony Limb, what a small world.
