i am putting my surfboard on my car with a surf rack(wrap rax), do the fins go to the front or to the back

If you don't tie everything down right, it makes the most annoying loud humming sound, had it for 11 hours from London to the west coast of Ireland. :bang:

Just thought I"d give you a tip if your using a soft roof rack,as your tieing it on twist it a couple of times as this stops the vibrating usually ! well almost.
