Surfing Practice

Hey guys whats up. I'm an east coast surfer and i havent gone surfing in a while and i dont feel like getting into 40 degree water just for some ankle high waves. so i was wondering what i could do for some surfing practice. Thanks

errm work on your weak points..if its paddling go to a local swimming center and swim, if its popping up- practice popping up on dry land.. or there is the indo board if you are willing to pay out to buy one

I've heard that skateboarding works is that true. I've heard rob Machado grew up practicing his cutbacks on a skateboard on a curb. I've also noticed riding a longboard skateboard is very similiar to riding a funboard surfing.

yeah def using same muscles..check out the carveboard they are great for improving turns and getting the surf feel on land

Dude that carveboard thing is pretty expensive. My friend just got one of those "Wave" things its crazy its got only two wheels and feels so much like surfing its unbelievable. but again its pretty expensive.

make your own indo board. all you need is a piece of wood or a skateboard deck, and put it on an old 2 liter thing of pop filled with water and u got an indo board. a guy on youtube shows u how to do it
