What size board?

Postby joedirtcb » Sat Jun 23, 2007 6:21 pm

Hello, Im joe.

This is the first topic i have posted, since i just signed up.
Okay lets see, I have a 6'2 razor surfboard from new zealand. And it's not in the best condition. (dings, cracks, chipped nose ect.) But its still rideable. I was out surfing with my friends the other day and i had forgotten to get my board. So my friend's dad is the owner of my local surf shop and let me rent a board for free. That was the second board i have ever used, besides mine. And it was a 6'2 quiet flight. ( im pretty sure it was epoxy ) And it was so good! I also tried my friends boards but they were like 5'6 and like 5'8, i couldent ride them. But heres why i posted this topic. Im buying another board, since i found out that my board, which i thought was good is acually a piece of crap. So i have found a few boards on the internet, one is a lost surfboard and the other one i forgot.. but there both 6'0. And im kinda worried cause i dont know if i can ride them at 6'0. Cause i just started surfing about 5 months ago on the crappy razor board, which is 6'2. But at least i can stand up on it and almost go down the line. so what should i do? or do any of you guys know if i can ride a 6'0? im 105 pounds and i can ride a 6'2. haha, i dont want to buy the board and it turns out that when i get in the water it sinks or i cant stand on it.

thanks guys.
