houston, weve got a problem... or not?

i recently broke the center fin on my shortboard (tri-fin) do i have to replace it right now or can i surf with just 2? and how will it affect my surfing/what do the 3 fins do for you? i could get it changed but im gonna wait it out for a while cuz im to lazy if its ok to surf with 2....

i think surfing a board designed to have 3 fins with just two in would be really difficult. you will lose the hold of the centre fin so it will probably be too loose at the tail.

That was my thought too. You could try it but I would think it would be a wasted session. If you are not to lazy to go out surfing don't be to lazy to get it fixed :)

For a decent center fin you're looking at $40.00 USD +, side bites, $17.00 USD +.
