Sunday morning strikes again!

I've just set up my internet at my new place so I thought I'd say hi.

yes, disaster struck again. To be honest I wasn't going to say anything cuz I expect people who don't know me just wouldn't believe it

I went to the local supermarket to get some food just after dumping all my stuff off. On the way out, just past the checkout, I slipped on a puddle of clear liquid which I didn't see and couldn't posssibly have seen unless I was closely inspecting the floor, and there was no sign or anything to warn me about it. I've injured my left ankle and it's all swollen and bruised It's really quite painful too. Not sure how I'm gonna get to work on Monday....

but hey, it could have been worse so I'm just gonna take it easy and try and forget about it.

My brother just got home. He quite litterally moved across the country in the last week. Yesterday his truck broke down in the middle of nowhere, in the California desert, and I, with my mom, drove about 120 miles to pick him up, loaded some of his stuff in my car and drove the 120 miles back, didn't get home until almost midnight, and my back is killing me after loading up my car last night.

That does kind of bring it home a bit. I've had some moving stress before, frequently lost things but at least I've never spent hours stranded in the middle of a fleshin' desert!
