Any of the Scarborough area beaches are ok, South Bay is normally preffered for learner surfers as its a lot mellower, North Bay can get hollow and have some power to it.

Just caught me i'm off in a bit.

There will definately be wave tomorrow, and Sunday. Sunday will be smaller though.

MSW really struggles predicting swells on the east coast, especially from the direction this ones from. Tommorow will be quality.

I'll PM you my mobile so you can call for an eyeball.

LOL - but radar has an 'R' at both ends.........

BTW - is that really YOU flying that F18?? Or maybe you surfed the wave that he made???

Or........maybe not..............

And seeing as I'm here, I'll bite on your previous comment about whether we've sold much.......

The simple answer is yes - but not as much as we'd perhaps hoped. The main problem we're facing is the fact that the UK surf market is rather fickle, with many 'summer holiday only' surfers coupled with quite a few dyed in the wool surfers who, for whatever reason, seem reluctant to try anything 'new'.

That having been said, our aim in this wasn't a 'get rich quick on the back of surfers' thing, it was simply to find new products that offer something different to the UK surfing community, sticking by our addage that we will only promote something that we would buy with our own money (and indeed, HAVE bought with our own money). We also endevour to keep the prices as LOW as is humanly possible, even going as far as to get the supplier to drop their wholesale price if we think it's unreasonable, or take next to nothing as our mark-up........

We currently have a small range of items, all fairly unique in the marketplace, and that's how we like it. We have just received (after weeks of waiting) a unique single fin system from the US which, if we think it's any good, we'll be selling soon. A couple of other products are in the pipeline........

Our main product is nearing it's release date and this is something that we've actually invented and are pretty confident in. It's a TOTALLY unique product and was pretty much the driving reason behind setting up the company.

Oh - and we give a % of our profit to the RNLI........

So - your contribution the the UK surf scene would be??????

Not spamming a public forum trying to sell half arsed junk. What's yours?

grow a sense of humour dude. And if you REALLY need it explained, yes I know Radar has two R's, (it's called a typo) And no, I can't fly a jet.

This is generally a well mannered, friendly forum, I was taking the piss in what I considered to be an inoffensive way.

Had a nice waist high wave today. I'm old so I am going to take a nap and then go hit a late afternoon session. Of course it does not help that I was up at 4:15 AM.
