That all depends on if your a happy drunk, sad drunk, or mean drunk.

If your a happy drunk, by all means go for it.

If your a sad drunk, you'll just get all depressed, maybe try to call or see her, and make a fool of yourself.

If your a mean drunk, you could end up kicking, or getting your @ss kicked, or end up in the slammer......or both.

sorry to hear that man. I'd agree with everyone else who said if she's done it once, she'll do it again. and why should you worry about getting her stuff back to her? she left it at your house, she should pick it up herself!

and from someone who went through a big and painful breakup last year (after 3 years)...time really does heal (sorry, i hate platitudes but it's true!)...and so does meeting someone else! I'm now seeing someone else who is faaaaaaaar better for me in every way than my ex was and makes me stupidly happy every day :D (it's scary how you can get used to being unhappy all the time without noticing it :? )

anyway, shed a tear if you want, you've spent time with someone you care about/love etc so you're bound to be upset, but rest assured there is someone else out there who you will care about and love even more, and who won't hurt you!

hugs n stuff xx

dude, sorry to hear about it, I feel your pain. Been there myself. Personally, I thought some of DBBB's advice on the first page was thoroughly to the point though!

There's some real wisdom here dude. Listen to these people.

cheating sucks, that seems to be my life story with girls.
is it just me or does it seem like they are more likely to cheat if you're a nice guy???

I read recently that girls are far more likely to cheat than guys, apparently 50% of girls polled said they had or would.

Makes me think about becoming a monk, I hate cheating.

that really surprises me  i thought guys would be more likely to cheat than girls.

i don't get it, personally - if you're unhappy then end the relationship. cheating is just lame.

I suppose it makes sense if you think about it, once you get past social conditioning and upbringing male and female desires are pretty similar, but it's a lot easier for a girl.

the male sex drive is much, much great than the females. i would really challenge that women cheat more, im almost postive that men cheat more. male and female desires are the result of biology and millions of years of natural selection according to many evolutionary psychologists, its not solely the result of social conditioning. if it is that social conditioning came from innate motives.
but back to your cheating girlfriend, i would dump my girlfriend so damn fast. i can understand if you all had been going out longer, but its just too soon in the relationship to accept her back after cheating. hope it works out well for you.

I had a chick cheat on me once and I stayed with her. Biggest mistake ever). I can safely say that if it ever happens again I will be out of there like a shot. If someone doesn't respect you enough to be faithful then their not worth the time and effort (and money  )

Unfortunately, modern biology disagrees with you. So does my most recent ex! I'm not going to go into details, but god damn!

Up until recently I would have agreed with you on this, but the article I read lately was pretty convincing, and it IS a lot easier for a girl to cheat.

If you can separate your feelings for her and just have lots of fake make up sex, then go for it, and hang with her for a bit.

Follow me here -

when you're single, it's impossible to find any woman. then suddenly, you shack up and they come out of the woodwork wanting you because you're taken.

Use her as a launching pad for a woman on the prowl that wants to fight for you and have some fun while you're at it.

I read in a museum at the Cheddar Gorge that many, many years ago females were found to have a habit (cant think of a better word!) of having a life partner to look after them etc and then have a little hows your farther with the alpha male in order to produce offspring.

Unfortunately this seems to support the 'treat 'em mean keep 'em keen' theory. Purely anicdotal: the women I know are more likely to cheat that the men I know. tis true Im afraid.

Dont treat us mean tho, the nice ladies like to be treated nice :D

the museum thing may be true, and i know women are more likely to cheat when they are ovulating (sp?). but if men and women had equal sex drives, why are men so much more eager. in one experiment when a male (who worked for the experimenter) asked a female (chosen randomly) to have sex with him, she only said yes about 25% of the time. in the opposite scenario, the man said yes more than 75% of the time.

but there are cultural considerations, as your in england and im in america, and i heard americans are much more up-tight about sex.

but this is what i learned too. men produce millions of sperm, women can only have about 20 kids total in their life. so it would have the greatest genetic survival value for the man to have sex a lot and the women to protect her eggs, since she has to be chosey. its real hard to explain here, but read On human Nature by E.O. Wilson or The moral animal by robert wright.

anyways im going to bed, got to catch the dawn patrol tomorrow :D
