What Board??

Right now I ride one of my Dads old boards which is about a 6'0 by 22 by 3 and is a swallow tail twin fin but the board is no longer challenging and I cant really try new things on it so I need an upgrade. I weigh 51kg and im about 5 foot 7. My local break averages 1-4 foot and is pretty weak wave. I am looking at one of Brett Warners boards called the slingshot and the dimensions that im keen on is 6,1 by 20 1/4 by 2 5/8 swallow tail which is made for the smaller stuff in the 1-3 foot range. The other board im looking at is a Mark Phipps board called the kong which is 6'2 by 20 by 2 1/2 swallow tail. I am an intermediate surfer but dont surf heaps (maybe 4 times a month) as I live 2 hours from our beach house. What board would you pick if you were in my shoes or do you think I should be looking at other boards?
