Yeah, down there all weekend. Bit crappy, but I enjoyed myself at Saunton on saturday, got a couple of good rides getting used to my new board. Sunday was fleshin' flat.

How'd you get on? Where did you camp?

Nice... I camped at this place called 'stowford farm'.. i think that is how u spell it ha!
was down woolacombe sat day..! went pretty well!
i've been interested in surfin for aggeeees but i've never got around to hiring out a board and gettin in to the sea.. so atm im bodyboarding...
and it's prty hard cuz i can't practice surfin down where i live because the waves we get are midgets compard to woolacombe. ! :cry:

but hoping to be able to go n-devon much more then last year!!

Yep, I was out Saturday and it was ok on the pushing tide.

I'm really glad I got in early when it was quiet (only me, my buddy and about 3 others!) before the zoo arrived at about lunchtime!!

Gotta love those bank holiday weekends!! :twisted:

By the time everyone turned up I was totaly surfed out with arms like noodles. Was more than happy to leave it to the foamers and goatboaters by then!! :lol:

It was cool, everyone (even the goatboaters! :twisted:

) were behaving themselves and playing nicely!

The only time I got a bit hot under the collar was in the car park when a kid stamped on the nose of my buddy’s board! We had three boards out on the grass drying out and as a couple plus sprog walked past the delightful little darling took a two footed jump onto the nose!

The kid can thank his lucky stars he chose my mate's indestructible Bic and not one of my customs!!

..lmao ..im hearing you on that broken nose thang B' ...

man i hate the stereotypical lower-middle class kids and their parents ! .. no respect for sheeet, really dont like hearing them first thing in the morning complaining that timmys tiramasou wasnt up to par last evening etc etc .. im sat there giving it the WTF are you doing here people ..

and no that doesnt mean i disslike anyone who has better breeding or more cash than me ..as long as they fit the landscape they have decided to make themselves part of ..if ya get me :wink:

In fairness, there was no actual damage to my mates board (good old Bic's!) and the dad did get the kid to come and apologise to me but I do wonder if anything would have been said to the little brat had I not been right there snarling from the back of my truck :?:
