Surfing SE Asia

Well me and a friend are plannin on a 6-month trip to Southeast Asia sometime during the first half of next year. While surfing won't be my top priority, I still want to get in a few sessions. I really have no idea where's good, other than indo and a few spots in thailand...plans are tentative, but we plan on seeing about Vietnam, Laos, Indo, Thailand and Myanmar--so far.

Anybody have any first-hand experience or know others that have surfed down there for any recommendations?

hes one of the moderators on here. lives in thailand. thinks anything under double overhead is unsurfable .

Best place to surf in Vietnam is Da Nang (aka China Beach). Here's a site with relevant info and a cool slide show, too:
