exotic surfing spot for beginners...

Hi there wave lovers! and other freaks ;0)

Me and my sister decided to leave Finland behind for one month in July to go somewhere where we could find a surfers paradise (quite low expectations we have here going on...)
Anyway our dream was to travel to Bali but unfortunately all of the flights were fully booked :( and now we have no idea where to travel!

Because we would need a place where to rent a board ( I have my own but now I would like to try a smaller one) and my sister haven't surffed yet so I think it would be a good idea to get someone to teach her the basics. I have only surffed for two years (i lived in southern part of France last summer and the summer before that) so I don't have the skill to teach her being a beginner also ...

So we would really appreciate if you could send us some ideas and nice stories etc. as soon as possible so we could finally book our flights. I promise something really really good will happen to you if you do ;0)

Thanks!

ps and of cource we would like to scuba and enjoy beach bars etc. also...

perfect that the replies came through so fast! Thanks!
UK is little bit too close but Tahiti and Costa Rica sounds exciting!! I'll have to start surfing the net a little bit and find out more :0) I can almost smell the sea air and feel the waves already... :0)

You could still get to Bali:

www.ryanair.com from Tampere to Stansted

then

http://www.myqatar.co.uk/ to Denpasar, Bali

or www.ryanair.com from Tampere to Frankfurt

then

http://www.bruneiair.com/ to Denpasar, Bali
