When I was fiannly sober enough to drive bac from Wellington after going to mates birthday I went stright to MI's and had a fun session meeting up with a fw of the KBB guys. Nothing overly special, just screwin about getting slammed and slotted. Good stuff :D

Very disspointng day today...arrivd a a reef thats should have been working but the swel was diing a terrible death :(....
Ended up touring the coast doing some filming on what little swell remained... ended up jumpin in with a mate at gwithian for mini wedge and backwash action. turned out mildly amusing and i got the last bit of footage i need from some of the loacals on a small and infrequent porthreath.

Had a wicked time down at Polzeath. Went down with an old mate i've only surfed with a couple of times before back when i first started out and he was amazed how much better i'd gotten

It was a little choppy and a really irritating current kept dragging me down in the the bathers area but spent about 4-5 hours in the water and really really enjoyed it!!

just come back from newquay, horrible weather and mainly blown out surf, spent about 2 hours trying to find a campsite that wasnt for familys and couples only which realy pi$$ed me off, but i managed to get 2 good surf in, saturday i surfed infront of all the kooks, had lovely head high sets between the 4 of us for a few hours until the wind picked up, sunday was horrible windblown mush, drove around but no were was shelters so just got drunk, but sunday went in at great western, just over head high on the sets and i had some insane straight down the face dropins and i even stuck a few of them. hope some others of you got some good waves, the swell was there but so was the wind

East Coast action yesterday. North facing beaches a solid 5ft but too much wind on them, and as it was a family trip had South Bay at a couple of foot, bit bigger on some of the sets.

This is me having moved further down the beach, to the even smaller stuff so that my Photog, my missus could snap me in action.

Unfortunately she forgot to use the zoom function, so a crap picture of me surfing an even crappier wave.

Went out filming on the N.Coast secret reef thismorning... Will get some screan grabs up later this week possibily.

Then burnt down to Leven for the wind switch in the afternoon. Man it was macking. Pushing double overhead on the sets.. big, fast, and pretty heavy with the big tides.... sooo good!

A friend was shooting from the water so I'll get some shots up from the session soon!

Friday in Anglesey was great - 3-5ft waves (faces, that is), clean to glassy, pretty quiet, good lefts working (goofy footer) - a nice 8 hours surfing.
Unfortunately a re-occurring elbow injury (coupled with a less than happy wife) kept me out yesterday and today, but she's back at work tomorrow, my elbow is sort of less sore, so it's more of the same tomorrow and maybe Tuesday too (got to love shift work!!)
