Mostly I'd bet you'll be looking at the condition of the board and the shaper's name. If it's in great shape with a name shaper, you'll probably be looking in the neighborhood of $500 USD or better. Lesser known name, not in as great condition, anywhere from $300 to $500 USD. Board in not such good shape, possibly with a name on it, $150 to $350. Alot will depend on the motivation of the seller.

I would just reccomend going to a surf shop you trust and looking at there used longboards if its your second one unless your rich (which I am not).

Where I live there are many surf shops so one could find a solid used one in good condition for around 300 - 350 but it also depends on the size your looking into!

I say go buy a 12 foot longboard! be the king of the ocean!
