Which board would suit me better?

i'm basically an improving beginner, looking to get my first board. Well I do have a really beat up 6'2 one I posted about in the surfing lessons section, which was fun but impossible to stand up on (for me and my more seasoned friend)!

So here are 2 options I have at the moment, both local from private sellers, and hand shaped.

Joe Hart big boy 7'2 x 20" x 3"

Or

Liquid Perfection 7'10 x 21 3/4" x 2 3/4"

I think they would both be a lot easier for me to surf but I am a 5'3 female of average (but not skinny!) build.

What do you think?

Your right they both will be way easier for you to learn with. My gut feeling is go for the liquid perfection. No real reason as to why other than i think it's a better shape than the big boy. The big boy in my opinion is too thick for it's length for you and would have been aimed at a much heavier surfer.

id have to agree with KS here go for the liquid perfection. It's the type of board that no matter how advanced you get it will still have a place in your quiver
