What the hell do you want a mini-gun for? If you aren't really proficient at surfing that isn't the board for you. Are you planning on surfing some 1.5-2+ overhead in the near future?

How long have you been surfing? Can you get up on every wave? Are you comfortable on your hybrid?
Lots of different answers mean lots of different board suggestions.

Let's see I just ordered a 6'4'' mini gun and I'm 5'5'' or 5'6'' and 125 lbs. I suggest at least a 6'8'' because you want to get into big waves early so you don't kill yourself trying to make a late drop.

No, that's a big guy shortboard. If you want an aviso than I would recommend the 6'8'', but I think the avisos are a ripoff. They are very stiff and they cost over $1,000. Try looking for a regular board that you like.

ehood how many years is it you have been surfing you said this before: "im about 5'10" 200 lbs how much expieience and what kind of gun board and how big will i need ive been surfing for about 5 years now and am finally confident enough to surf pipe please help"

Gotta be sure how long you been surfing 2 to 5 years is a 3 year jump and alot of experience would have been gained in 5 years I'm sure. Don't go for something because your friends are able to. 2 years doesn't really qualify for pipes I think unless you've been going out everyday and still then I don't know. Maybe others can pitch in. Do jersey waves even prepare you for what youd see in the pipe?

Pipe is in Hawaii not California. I would go with the 6'8'' because the 7'1'' won't work good in big waves.

Yes, the 7'1'' won't handle well in big waves. If you find a board that you like that's 7'0'', or even a little bigger, and it's a semi gun get it.
