that's alright... I don't seem to be having much luck with men lately!

(I'm now secretly hoping that the good Rev SBoy will marry me to some other SW member at the summer meet when we're all pissed... it might be my only hope    )

Nice board - I've got exactly the same board, fin and bag as that! Except mine's 6 years old, got three creases on the bottom, and it's held together with wax.

They're awesome boards, go great in anything, and noseride so well.

Here's me riding mine in Costa Rica when it was still shiny

We went to the nicoya peninsula, hung around there for a bit, then tamarindo, then somewhere else between those 2 places, can't remember the name though.

It's an awesome country, we scored great waves everywhere. Scary driving though. We got hold of a really good guide book for it, had brown covers, for about 20 quid, which was so useful, gave honest opinions on where to surf and stay.

You are a Christchurch local are you Hang11?

I have surfed Brighton many a time and can be a really nice wave. I have put the pics on the main site - https://surfing-waves.com/your_wave_pictures.htm
feel free to post any more you have there.

Yes, I am these days, originally from near Brighton in the UK. New Brighton is fun, doesn't cope with decent sized swells too well though. Mangamaunu is my favourite spot round here. Been getting in at NB heaps lately, it's been a really consistent Autumn here. Good swell on the way this weekend too.

I've got hundreds of photos - when I get time I'll stick some up.

A problem with most of the Chch breaks. Mangamaunu is a great break, I never got to surf it myself when I was over there but saw it going off on a couple of occasions. Kaikoura picks up so much swell.
