Too old?

I'm 53. Often, when I'm struggling to get out through 8 foot waves on my 9'8" board, I think "I'm too old for this." But after a few good waves, I don't think that anymore.

Since i started this thread i guess i should add something! Been out loads now...loving it...fitness is improving and feel no different to when i was in my early 20's....also kicked me up the ass to give up smoking ;) anyone else above their 20's thinking about it, go for it...best thing i ever did.... :lol:

At 46, I started racing motocross and shifter karts. Now a year later I've rediscovered my love of surfing and some muscles that haven't been used for awhile :oops:

When you get old you'll regret the things you didn't do, not the things you did! Glad your having fun!
