Anybody Make Their Own Board Bag?

Postby Banana » Fri Apr 13, 2007 5:14 pm

I'm going to sew my own board bag (OK, wife is going to do the sewing). Anyone try this? I've got material around that house that should work.

Tips?

Leave heaps of room for padding! More padding the better chance your board will have of surviving airplanes, falling off roof racks, and general abuse!

Ooooh nice!

Do you think the cost of marrying a chick for her sewing skills, having a kid and sending them to college, just so you can just use their bed sheets is more or less than the £20 I spent on a board sock from my local shop?

Ah wait, mine comes with a story too; got in car, parked on double yellow lines, paid the man and left............mmmmmh not as good as yours!

Enjoy your trip with Mr Reno! :D

Basic questions for future wife:

1-Are you a yankees or redsox fan?
2-Do you know what surfing is and would you like to do it?
3-Do you have a high aptitude in the art of sewing and are you proficient at it?

Do you know what surfing is, would you like to do it and/or hold my towel?
