Rash without wettie

When surfing in just boardies i get really bad chafing on my thighs and hip bone.. is there any preventitave.. or do you jsut hav to get your skin use to it.. thanks

i used to get that really really stung..errm get long anough boardies so it covers your thighs or you could be some vasiline on it that mite help it

Yeah, I got that when I went to Spain and for like the first time I did'nt have to wear a weetie, stung like a bitch.
I think vaseline might help.

You can get rash guards for it. You can get them at sports stores or bicycling stores.

I used to get really nasty rashes. they went away after about a month or so of surfing, however after this winter of wearing of a wetsuit i know that going back to boardies is gonna be torture for a little while.

Vaseline helps a bit. But better to just power through it and then use an anti-rash creme when you get home and rinse off.

Get a rash guard and longer board shorts.

Vaseline will make you slip off your board!!
