i don't think you ever get over being a pikey student....i walked past some roadworks on my way home the other night and had this really strong urge to liberate a traffic cone....had to remind myself I'm not a student any more and i don't need a traffic cone!

I had a similar urge over the weekend, but mine was to re-plant For Sale signs in other peoples gardens.

I TOTALLY know what you mean... if I'm ever drunk and walking past a loose sign or some traffic cones the thought always crosses my mind!

...then I remember how I did that in the centre of Newcastle some 10 years ago without considering that someone was watching me on CCTV... the police turned up and asked what I was up to! I claimed that I was just putting it back as someone had knocked it over and left it in the middle of the pavement where someone might bump into it... then they told me I'd been followed on camera for like a mile    Ahhhhh the good old days!

We used to collect roadsigns and flashing lights when we were out on the piss. Usually had to nick a shopping trolley to cart the stuff back to my exes house.

Them big orange flashing buggers go on forever!! We put it in his lounge and it flashed non stop for about 6 months
