will someone please do it for me? I'm stressed just thinking about it all. Please help!

Can you:
*plan 22different lessons for next week (including some sort of quiz on resuscitation & DRABC)
*Write three new revision guides for GCSE, AS and A2level philosophy
*Write 150 individual reports
*mark 90 KS3 essays on whether reality is an illusion

and then I'll only have about 3 books to read and a few more A2 philosophy resources to make.

Oh please please please someone do it for me  I'm bored, I'm tired and I'm fed up. *sighs very loudly in the hope that someone will feel a little sympathetic* :D

why oh why oh why oh why oh why oh why oh why

it's such a lovely day outside and I'm missing it all. maybe I should just not bother with it all... I mean, what can they do... I'm leaving soon.

Actually, that sounds like a plan. I'll do a little bit (for the kids) and then forget the rest, or else put it off for as long as possible.

I'm gonna go and enjoy the sunshine.

And they say teachers get it easy! Sounds like hard work to me.

Why not take some of your work out into the sun with a nice alcholic bevvie. Best of both worlds and i'm sure you'll get more done that you would sat inside stressing

I would but it's too bright to see outside... I'm plodding through it slowly... but fingerpainting sounds like much more fun :P If there was an exam in it, I'm sure Sboy would get an A* grade! Gonna have a break for a few hours. I'm getting depressed writing this thing on the causes of evil

gonna sit in the garden with a small glass of wine and eat strawberries (yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm).

might even close my eyes and pretend I'm at the beach (although the roar of the M25 behind the back gate doesn't exactly help!)

I feel for you,

I've got three reports and a presentation that need writing in 2 weeks.

I'm the worst for procrastination ...one day last week i drank so much tea I started skaking.

Well, you're not alone, Thaya, I've got a bunch of papers to grade and lessons to plan as well, but I am on spring break right now, so it can wait til next week. I also have a paper to finish for my master's, as well. I need to get to the beach this week.. :D

hey sdcali, nice to hear from you... how's things at your school?

I've just got back from the beach and I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms... I think it's the combination of suddenly not being able to surf and then realising just how much work I have to do  I almost managed to forget that I had a job for a whole week... it was great!

I know what you mean. I managed to get a bit more done tonight but I'm still in holiday mode... it's so difficult to get back into it.

maybe I'm just plain lazy... I just have a "can't be bothered" attitude right now! I want to disappear to a nice hot desert island with perfect waves. maybe if I start planning my next trip to cornwall that will ease things for me...

Just keep thinking about your upcoming trip to Hawaii. We just started setting ours up. Going to Big Island for 12 days, then to Oahu for a week. So will be there in August.
School's getting to be not so fun, kids don't want to be there (especially last week, just before the break). I've got to figure out something to get them back in the groove quick when we get back as there's only about 11 weeks left in the school year, and we have state tests coming up soon.

only 11 weeks left? you're so lucky! please don't mention exams... that's what i'm stressing about! Sometimes I think I get more worked up about their exams than the kids do  I need to stop putting myself under all this pressure.

and HAWAII IN AUGUST?!!! That's so cool! We HAVE to meet up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll pm you nearer the time :D
