Board Shorts and Rashie or Wetsuit?

Hey dudes, what do you reckon is better to surf in during the summer? Wetsuit or Boardshorts and rashie?

Id go for The shorts . Even Though you might get a rash alot cooler than a roasting hot Wetsuit .{ Are wetsuits hot ? }

depends where you are up here its 4/3 even in summer.utherwize your soldger might never solute again.but with the right suit no problems.in florida on the other hand when I was there I had my suit on just a 3/2 and could not stand the heat.And I think they were laphing at me on the beach when I whent in.what did I know then I almost always surfed cold water befor that.

only board shorts if warm water, freaking confortable, and cold water spring suit

whatever you can tolerate wearing in the temp. of water should be okay, be smart about it :wink:

i'd go shorts
it might not be the warmest but it feels better when you surfing, more flex
and feel that free in a wettie

arghh i was wearing boardies and rash vest this sumemr but got really bad rashes from the shorts... does everyone else get this? i know you can get seamless ones now, but i haven't seen any girls' ones...
