Hey hey, off to Lanzarote on 8 apr for 2 weeks, any low down on accomodation and transport would be appreciated. I'm an aussie surfer travelling on my own so if anyone wants to share a hire car, drop us a line, cheers.

Depends what you want to do.

Surf all day then sit in a cosy pub down some idylic harbour at night?

Or

Surf all day then party all night in the cheezy clubs and bars in the main town!?!

I went in September last year, we knew it was touch and go for the surf as it was early in the season, so we got a last minute package deal to the main town, Puerto de Carmen, in the south-east and drove to the main beaches/breaks in the north-west to surf.

At night we hit the touristy places and partied.

Whatever you do you'll need a car (even better a 4x4) to get around the island.

I'm sure this was the site we used for car hire and general info
