Heres a hint, do NOT 'try' a domain name unless your prepaird to get it right there and then.

Otherwise a cyber squater will register it and you'll have to buy it from them instead.

But (the trick) is they wont pay for it, or rather not complete the deal, they get 5 days 'grace' so you can always try back later...

Well did glassing today, fin placement, shaping...the works! woot! glassed and hotcoated 3 boards

I think Souled out is already taken, but it's a bit retro, and if you're shaping new style boards it doesn't sit too well anyway.

I think you need a name that reflects both you and connects with surfing.

Object 8 sounds cool, but what does it mean? When I started up my web design company I spent ages coming up with a name. It ended up being Penguin Digital Concepts.

The reason for the penguin in both that and my forum handle is that my name is actually Benjamin Gwyn > Ben Gwyn > Penguin!

So it ties everything in to me!

So I would brainstorm any words you can think of to do with surfing:

Wedge
Curl
Rail
Lines
Sets
Face
Green
Blue
White

Then think of how you feel about surfing and words connected to that - do you want to sound aggressive, fast or mellow, soulful etc.

Cos then you come up things like 'Soul Lines' or something.

(probably how they came up with Rip Curl!!)

But you need it to be personal to you so that you don't feel like changing it in a couple of months!!
