Yeah, I really liked the look of Sennen, but how long does it take to get there from Newquay?

Apparently Senne picks up any swell running so is probably a good spot to head to on a flat day at Fistral.
It looks like quite a cool place as well.

Does anyone know where are the good spots to head when its big and a bit blown out?
I know I'm askin too many questions but I want to get as many tips as I can so I dont end up with no surf for the week!

I've noticed a slightly annoying trend when looking into some info on Cornwall's spots posted by locals.

Why do they all think that people who travel down from the west are all complete twats, I dont think they realise they're priviliged to lived by the beach and not everyone has that accessibility to something they love.

I travel to the beach whenever I can, winter or summer and wish I lived by the coast. I understand the crowding, especially in summer, is annoying but they should be a bit more accepting of other surfers.

I dont think they realise just how lucky they are in my opinion.

There, rant over

I worked the summer down in Newquay last year, mainly to be able to get myself back into the surfing, i never found any problems with the locals, if anything i found them to be very warm, had many a chats with them, i dont rate Fistral at all myself, compared to the other beaches in and around the newquay area. .

ones i like are Perranport, Watergate Bay, Towen Beach & Crantock...

im still a novice with reagrds to surfing but had an awesome time none the less. . .

on a slightly offtopic note, does anyone have any pictures on the ''Cribber' wave that hits once or twice a year?
