Thanks alot for your help. Glad to see i'm not the only one with this mental block. I will just have to get out there and get over this. I will practise on a small day as suggested.

If any of you are up at north Devon chilling out sat out back and all of a sudden a mad man screaming latches onto your board and refusses to let go, that will be me! :oops:

try to find some surfer friends.
i get a bit scared also outback when it gets big at a local break but only when im alone.
i also hate being the guy the furthest out
because if hte guy in back of you gets sucked in by the currant, run away!!! :P
but buds help all the time.
for example, say your outside alone and its night and there are some creaking sound sand everything looks creepy, it will be scary.
say you and 10 friends are out on the same night at teh same place, itl be a party :P
