Ok, so I was planning on going to mexico(nayarit area) april 1. They are all sold out, my buddy i was planning on going with wanted to hold out see if it got cheaper...

So, where should I go? I already have the vacation time booked(March 31-April 8). I am looking at spending about $1000-$1300(CDN). I was thinking maby Baja, or San Diego....I would like hot....but dont know where to go....what is there in the carribean? Puerto Rico is supposed to be good, but a TON of people....I like a little more off the beaten path...

I'd give Puerto Rico a try. Never been there but from what I've heard it's great. My bro loves the Dominican and Cuba. Don't know about the surfing there though. Or check one of the discount vacation websites like www.itravel2000.com and check out their last minute deals to somewhere on the Baja.

Holy dilemna batman. You could do San Diego or Baja, but it may not be as hot and warm as you would like. Especially the water. With global warming and all, it seems that a lot guys have been wearing fullsuits almost year round without a proper summer. Anyway, loads of waves up and down the Baja coast. For both warm weather and good waves, head down to Cabo San Lucas.

The water gets up to 70 degrees in San Diego during the summer but its still not as warm as you'd like although a lot of people go without wetsuits.
