Postby CALHOUN » Wed Mar 14, 2007 7:49 pm

Anyone here have any suggestions on any type of glasses, goggle to wear in the water.
I think contact lenses would be a no.
Thanks,

Contacts will be no good. I reckon they will go weird with the sun and salt water. Maybe just shades will be the trick, goggles will probably seem a bit strange :?

Thanks.
I found a website for Sea Specs !
Looks like there are other brands as well.
I'm sorta surprise they haven't been mentioned. seems alot of pro surfers, windsurfers, etc wear them.
The end

Contact lenses are the way to go in my book. Surfed a couple of years and in that time only ever lost two lenses. Soft monthy lenses I wear but friends wear different and I've never heard of anyone having a problem with them in the water.

Sea Specs fog up. I only wear them when my eyes are blood red and its either surf with goggles or get out. Only useful on very clean days when duck diving isnt required

Lots of people use contacts in the water.

Yep, I agree....SeaSpecs suck! Waste of cash in my opinion!

I broke one pair in the surf...the frame broke when I wiped-out, and the other pair the dogs mauled!

Plus...they fog up and annoy the crap out of me!
