Another one of my best mates is turning 30  I want to get her something really wierd, but nice... it's gotta be memorable and have a fun factor. Any ideas? I was wondering if any of you had ever given wierd and wonderful presents???

I stole all my friends home videos (i gave them back), then interviewed his family and friends on the sly and cut together a documentary film about his life, I then set up a pub with a projector and did a this is your life style event with clips and people telling stories about him, culminating with his sister (that he didnt know was coming back from germany) suprising him.

It was a massive effort, but a 21st he'll never forget.

Other than that, the best gifts are kidnapping your mates and taking them on a day trip somewhere (I've done this twice, once to amsterdam - sorting out stealing a passport and booking their time off work is a xxxxx but fully worth it)

An unstealable lighter - A lighter... attached to a BIG chain... attached to a brick... which was painted silver... and had rude words on it along the lines of 'flesh off, this is MY lighter'.

(all my own work, too)

I give the most romantic presents, me....

I've got a few ideas now anyhow, thanks!

My mate was back in Oz for his 30th, we had his flat keys, went round and created a naked calendar using all his prise possessions to cover all our bits, it was very professionally done.

The basket sold it on ebay to get us back, he made £3.62

(I've still got a copy, I bring it out when I want a girl to leave my flat)

not strange to us but strange to someone else. people get sex wax off me for comedy presents if i cant be arsed to think of something. the look on peoples faces is always funny.

also took my friend shopping at the trafford centre for her birthday. gave her money and she was gone before i could say happy birthday.

I made my girlfriend (now wife) a 'cuddly toy' replica of her GSXR-600 complete with clocks and everything. I was well proud, made from material, with no pattern to work from. I even embroidered 'Shaz 900' on the sides of the fairing! (her name's sharon!) It was about 2 ft long and 1 ft high!

For my best friend, I found some photos of him surfing 1 ft mush at Saunton and photoshopped him into some quality hawaiian juice, then mocked up a 'surfer magazine cover' for him and framed it! Wicked!
