Er, depends on the shade Kitey has got.

But, no, its only the rails and a purple dot on the deck - its not supposed to be a big purple statement!

Its going to be mostly white!

I hope, I really really hope, that one day James, soon, you have a last minute growth spurt (I didnt stop getting taller until I was about 21, so theres still time) and then you get to find out what its like trying to propel 80 kg of bloke along on a shortboard

I'm in. At the back, obviously, but in.

And the 'DBBB goes piggy back on James so James knows what it feels like round'

I hear ya DBBB, I am 220lbs, and 6'5", and I have tried surfing on a 6'8 thruster....not that easy.....I love my 7'4". Its thick and wide, so it works great for me...I would be up for a paddle race...I would be in the middle of race season then, so I would be in prime swimming shape...

I'd join in a paddle race... hopefully by then I'll have a longboard

BUT I'd need some sort of advantage over you as I have a handicap... (i.e. when I paddle my shoulder doesn't work!)

maybe I could start 5mins before everyone else  . I'd probably still be last though

I think the only way I'd win is if I was secretly attached to a jetski !!!!!
