was lucky all week. surfed every day, due to half term and the swell was great, and tides were of an ok time range, bit early for half term though

Just back from the East Coast had to surf on the drop cos i had to at least open the shop in the afternoon as its a Friday. Was hoping a semi secret reef would be firing but we were about an hour and a half too early for it.

Checked NBay but looked a real hard slog out for not much, head high but not too much shape. So got in at SBay but as always smaller, chest high but nice and clean. Only me a friend and two others out and so warm in the sun.

Got in just becuase I had to today... not been in for a week what with helping Em move and work etc..

Knew the wind was blowing in earlymorning but got down early enough to get a few long rides at CITS... stayed in for a bit once the gales hit.. was certainly amusing. v bumpy storm surf once it blew strong.

i surfed it after school and it was ok, it got messy after lunch when the winds turned, but it was still a good sesh, you didnt miss much, it got pretty crowded at bmuf

had a soul session here yesterday. For some weird reason there wasn't too many out on the south shore, I guess the North Shore went up...and the waves came up pretty nicely to about head high. very clean and not croweded at all. I had a blast, and was soo stoked.

Here are some pics from the xmas eve from pipeline....

i was with a bud.
the waves had quite alot of backwash, made it all wierd when you fell.
