I found my board yesterday at a local sporting goods store! The manager saw the picture that I posted on craigslist.com. Had to pay him what he was in it for... which was $160 for the board and bag!!!!! Oh well, he got fingerprints and driver's lisence info, so maybe I'll recover that after the cops investigate.

I'm feeling kinda lucky today... might go buy a lotto ticket!

Yeah the guy at Play-it-Again sports just wanted what he was in it for so he could get out of the middle of the situation. He said if I didn't pay him off he'd have to hold the board till the cops found the guy and got some money out of him.

I think $160 for my $1000 setup was a pretty good deal. It's far from over... there is a detective involved now and supposedly with the fingerprints and info that we have about the guy there is a decent chance I'll get that $$ back and more.

What's funny is the guy sold it in the same town as it was stolen... like 40 minutes after he stole it.

What a retard.

Can't believe you had to pay! Surely as it's stolen goods the police would have confiscated it and returned it to you?
