I'm in Daytona Beach today.

I'm visiting a friend here for a couple of days. He's in class, when he gets out we're gonna hit the beach. Waves are poop today, but look to be decent tomorrow.

Bought a new wetsuit while here, Body Glove ARC 3/2.

The board got down here safe in the plane. I used a soft bag, and put a comforter on either side of the board inside. I also used piping insulation around the rails!

First ride on the new board, so I'm stoked. I wish it was 3:15 already!

BTW, it's like 74 degrees here...water temps supposed to be upper 60s. It's so beautiful. 8)

oh....and my girls a flight attendant, so I flew for free. Sometimes they bump us up to buisness class. She told me to buy a bag of candy and give it to the flight attendants and say something like "My girlfriends a flight attendant and she's always craving candy...so..."

It worked. 8) And I ordered a Baileys with cream and she came back with three bottles of it! So if you ever feel clever, pretend to be wit ha flight attendant...and bring candy!

Cool, I'm just about 30 miles up the coast from you. Shame its pretty flat this week, but it is nice and warm.

If your looking for surf, check out New Smyrna Beach and Ponce Inlet. Just a couple good spots within an hour of Daytona.

We should get a little east windchop this weekend down here. I think you will get waves up there too.
