Definately!

I heard that some of the photographers and even surfers have little air tanks that can hold a few breaths

Hey Kitey, you know you said about the tank thing...this is a quick pic of a lifeguard at Pipeline with one. Only gives you about 10breaths though.

Looks more like a dry bag for his radio than an air tank :? .

That is one sick wave! I f I had absolutely no fear I would go. My mate just came back from there a couple of weeks ago, he surfed it about 6 ft and still got nailed really bad!

They paid some local fishermen to take them out there, they got dropped off and the fishermen left them stranded at Teahupoo! He said it was a hell of paddle back...he was cut of the reef too, so paddling back wiht blood coming out of him strted to cause interest in the sea life community

Yea it does look a bit like a radio waterproof case. I have heard of tow in surfers like Garret Mcnamara carrying them.

PS. Pipeline isn't a small and mushy wave at all..its a warping 10ft deamon...

PPS. Pipeline is also in Hawaii...not Tahiti..

it has to be super fun, but its just way to scary and dangerous for me at this level. if i was sure to make it out no problem then yes, but now, no.
