hmm....well having whinged to all and sundry on many occasions about my ex (thanks guys! :D ) I now feel loads different - mainly due to having met a lovely new blokey! In fact I even phoned my ex for a chat the other night    So for those of you doubting it at the mo, it does get better.

Stone Fox, as someone else said earlier, your ex doesn't sound like the kinda nice chicky you'd want in your life anyway, so don't let it get you down babe!

Big Valentines hugs and kisses for everyone!

Roses are red and grow well in poo,
not of the human kind, but animal its true!
for out of the crap comes a blossoming sight,
smelling of perfume but never of shite?

I never did realise quite what it means,
that when you buy flowers, legs open it seems
the downside of this is that you save all your cash
just to buy flowers for a sniff of a g*sh.

so we are back where we started, in a roundabout way,
the dilemma of flowers for Valentines day,
dont waste your time on buying this poo,
buy chocolates instead for a bit of two in the g**.

chocolates taste nicer and arent grown in xxxxx
they dont cost as much and still get you your bit,
heed these words well boys and dont make the mistake
of buying manky flowers to open the gates.

When girls get a bunch of flowers on Valentines, they always sniff them. Are they...

A) Smelling the lovely aroma of fresh flowers?

B) Smelling for petrol because they suspect you bought them from the garage on the way home?

I don't get Valentines and don't do it, luckily the other half feels the same so no daft spending required by me today.

Have the balls to tell your partner you think its a pile of poo, and soon this nonsense can be driven from our lives.

I had actually been saving up, because I was thinking of taking my ex away for a romantic valentines weekend. (I still care, it wouldn't hurt if I didn't care - I was thinking of taking her back) When I heard about her latest bout of drunken behaviour.

The funny thing is I don't believe in Valentines, it's an artificial holiday created by the American greeting card industry.

Wikipedia wrote:Valentine's Day was probably imported into North America in the 19th century by British settlers. In the United States, the first mass-produced valentines of embossed paper lace were produced and sold shortly after 1847 by Esther Howland (1828-1904) of Worcester, Massachusetts. Her father operated a large book and stationery store, and she took her inspiration from an English valentine she had received. Since 2001, the Greeting Card Association has been giving an annual "Esther Howland Award for a Greeting Card Visionary."

In the second half of the 20th century, the practice of exchanging cards was extended to all manners of gifts in the United States, usually from a man to a woman. Such gifts typically include roses and chocolates. In the 1980s, the diamond industry began to promote Valentine's Day as an occasion for giving jewelry.

The day has come to be associated with a generic platonic greeting of "Happy Valentine's Day."

In some North American elementary schools, students are asked to give a Valentine card or small gift to everyone in the class. The greeting cards of these students often mention what they appreciate about each other.

Some people see Valentine's Day as an opportunity to give to charities and help others.

BUT, just because I see it's creating as a cynical money making scheme, doesn't mean that I don't think it's a good idea to devote a day to love. The world needs more love.

I'm an Atheist, but I still buy people presents at christmas, because I believe the festival has evolved beyond it's religeous origins into a festival of cheer and good will.

Thanks. How long did it take you to get over 'he who shall not be named' ?

That sounded sooooo Monty Pythonish. I'd have to say the Holy Grail is on of my all time favorite movies.

I met up with her for a drink last night, and I took a photo of her arm with my phone.

It's been about a month now, and most of the burns have healed, apart from one which she KEEPS ON PICKING!

Sorry, that irritates me, I keep on telling her not to pick it. It's now about 5 times the size of the original burn, and you KNOW it's going to scar like a bitch.

I bumped into my ex fiance today! She's doing really well, she's just qualified as a nurse, about to start training to be a midwife. We've now been texting each other for hours, she's just split up with her boyfriend.

My love life is a mess.
