New Comer

Yes well i have been surfing for a couple of weeks now and i bought a new board 6"4 funboard liquid shredder. Ive taken the board for a few rides and im just wondering if it is an alright size for me. i am 172cm tall and weigh 65kg.

isnt a liquid shredder a soft top board :shrug: 6'4 fun shape thats an odd size.

sorry its a shortoard with a littke bit of a rounded edge and yeah its a softboard but its nearly as hard as a fibreglass board

Can you paddle it, can you catch waves on it, stand up?

If so then its probably OK to get along with. But IMO your better off with a longboard to learn on, 9ft or so, easier to paddle & stand.

How are you managing with the board filo? Can you pop up and stand up on the board easily?

Out of interest, which beach do you surf at? north, south or mid sydney?

cool, how's bondi go? I hear it's really busy and filled with english backpackers...

I've never bothered carting my board up to bondi since it's a 40min drive, and cronulla's only 5.
