Surfing Conditions - HM

Postby Johno » Fri Feb 02, 2007 9:20 am

Hi all its been a while, not been surfing for 3 1/2 months due to an injury,

I’m thinking of planning a trip to HM on Sunday, had a look at west coast surf site and from the web cam it looks like a good Lerner wave today.

had a look on magic sea weed an what I can make out is that it will be a bit smaller on sunday, with a light off shore breeze,

Can any one advise if I have got this right so I don’t have a wasted journey

I'm no expert on ANYWHERE IN WALES, but Hells Mouth is gonna be flat by sunday I think.
The low pressure generating the swell at the moment is way up north so its got to wrap around ireland to get to the UK. So the south west is looking good for the weekend, although only the best spots will be working by sunday. I dont think there'll be a lot left by the time it gets to Hells Mouth :(

If you're gonna make a trip this weekend, saturday is the day and north devon or cornwall is the place :D

Oh yeah, wasnt thinking about that right
South FACING, not south WALES :yearght: (at myself)

I knew there was something wrong as I was writing it....

Anyway, I was still thinking right even if I was writing rubbish. SOUTH facing NORTH wales will be more or less flat!

Sorry mate - not gonna happen.
The small wave thats there now is only gonna get smaller. Probably unrideable on saturday (small chance of it being doable, just, on the push). Flat by sunday.
