Surfing! :D

ES1 is a classic. two blokes go surfing round the world at a time when surfing didnt exist, or was just starting, in a lot of places.

ES2 is more like a revisit of the places in 1, but much more modern.

Both great, but both are longboarding specials.

Difficult choice between the two.

Number one is more of a cult classic with a huge dose of 'You should have been here yesterday!'

Number two is a slightly more comedic, updated version.

I love them both, but you can get II for about £6, whereas it's £15 for I.

Yeah Pat o'Connell me thinks, I love the first one when they go to Fiji I think and they go to the break 'in and outs' and when they are in africa.

My favourite of the second is the plane moment pure classic.

I loved them both. Never get tired of them. They are more of a fantasy/escape movie than great surfing footage (plenty of that as well). If only we were all single, had months of free time, and sufficient money to travel the world taking pitstops at all of the best surf locations. For people who enjoy surfing...they never gets old.

Indeed. I enjoyed my FREE SAE dvd, had some good footage, but nothing truly original IMHO. But the endless summer films?? They're classics! They make you want to travel the world for the rest of your life, casually seeking out new waves and places and people.

Im with you on that Adrenaline! Even though I haven't seen Endless Summer, I can tell you that you will not be disappointed by Endless Summer 2! Its the dream in which I think we would all like to live at some stage! Hmm maybe if everyone donated cash into a fund you could pay for me to live that dream :D

You guys are nuts, Endless Summer II is way too cheezy for me. Half of the movie is staged and the lame voice layover... SAE was awesome because it had an awesome soundtrack and some awesome surfers surfing all over the world. It was more surf, less lameness.

Both classic films!!

Francis Bay in the first one is my favourite part - although the myth kind of gets exploded in the sequal!
